Q: I am unable to find my Smart Alert on my phone's Bluetooth device list.
A: The Leeo App only uses Bluetooth to connect your Smart Alert to your home's wifi and is disabled once it has been connected.  Use the Leeo App.

Q: My Smart Alert has not been paired with my wifi and I cannot find it on my phone's Bluetooth list.
A: Download the Leeo App from the iOS App Store or Google Play store (search for Leeo) and follow the setup instructions within the app.

If you have the Leeo App installed and are adding a new Smart Alert, but cannot find one:
  • Unplug your Leeo Smart Alert from the outlet and plug-it back in 
  • Disable your phone's Bluetooth and then enable it again
  • Ensure Location Services are enabled in your phone's Settings
  • Wait for the device to reboot (it will go back to a steady white light)
  • Open the Leeo app and tap 'search again.'

If the steps above do not work you can perform a factory reset by following these directions:

Important: Performing a factory reset can disable your Smart Alert.  Do not perform multiple resets and ensure there is no loss of power during a reset.
  1. Unplug your Leeo Smart Alert from the outlet
  2. Hold down the reset button while plugging the device back into the outlet. The reset button is located on the bottom of the device along the outer edge.  Do not press hard, just hard enough to feel the button is pressed and held.
  3. Once you see the white light on your Leeo Smart Alert wait 10 seconds and release the reset button (it may help to use your phone's stopwatch) .
  4. If done correctly your Smart Alert will flash blue multiple times. This may take up to 20 seconds, please be patient. 
    • If the lights do not blink blue wait until the Smart Alert should change back to the previous setting / color or the bright white default.   No factory reset has taken place, please restart at step 1.
    • If after waiting 3 minutes the Smart Alert light does not change to the pre-factory-reset color or the bright white default please contact customer service at support@leeo.com
  5. After your Smart Alert blinks blue it will turn red and begin to reboot (your device will stay red for 2-5 minutes). 
  6. Your device will then go dark for ~30 seconds and go back to a steady white light.

Once the device is back to a steady white light, re-add your Leeo Smart Alert to your account:

  • If you have not already done so, delete the Smart Alert from your Leeo account
    • Log into the Leeo App
    • ​From the main screen, tap the menu button in the upper left (3 bars)
    • Find the Smart Alert you’d like to remove and swipe from right to left across the name
    • Tap the ‘x’ icon
  • Turn on your phone’s bluetooth
  • Log into the Leeo App
  • Here you will have 1 of 2 options:​
  1. You have no other Smart Alerts and will be asked to add one to your account.
    • In this case just follow the instructions within the app.
  2. You have multiple Smart Alerts
    • From the main screen, tap the menu button in the upper left (3 bars)
    • Tap ‘Add New Device’ and follow the app’s instructions
